Details

The all new buggy from FTX racing is a high powered electric racing model. Not to be confused with toy radio controlled buggies, these are the real deal. With a big powerful 540 motor, three gear gearbox, geared differentials and an Etronix Probe Plus electric speed controller the RC buggy is very powerful. Fully installed RC equipment, 7.2V battery pack with charger are all included.

The buggy comes fully built so all you need to do is charge the battery, do some pre-checks and then you are ready to race. The radio transmitter has interchangeable frequency crystals so buggies can be raced against each other without interference. The buggy style gives the best of both worlds and is excellent both on and off road. It has enough ground clearance and large tyres for off road bashing but also has a low centre of gravity, race setup and independent suspension also means it can perform well on road when needed.

The model features a bottom loading battery compartment and rear mounted switch enable you to use and change batteries without necessarily removing the bodyshell. Suspension is independent on each wheel and is provided by oil filled shock absorbers. The model has many adjustable components so can be setup and changed to suit the driving conditions and drivers preference.Based around tried and tested race styling as used by leading manufacturers, the Edge is the perfect platform to enter radio control off road fun or racing.
